WE ARE NOT BUILDING FOR THE NEXT GENERATION
WE ARE BUILDING BECAUSE OF THE NEXT GENERATION
As a church, this is our most exciting venture yet. Reflecting on the journey of Faith Christian Church is so powerful and encouraging. We began in 1953 from a mid-week prayer meeting. I wonder if that small group of people could have imagined that now, over 65 years later, we would be this thriving multi-campus church reaching the nations of the world. We are truly living in the blessing of years of faithful sowing, faithful prayer and faithful men and women following God’s vision and heart for this city.
And now it’s our turn.
It’s with our rich history in mind that God has placed on our heart the 5 year plan for Faith Christian Church - The Legacy Build. We are ready to expand. We need to grow. This is our turn to leave a legacy for our children, for our community and for the Kingdom of God.
What part will you play?
Let’s do this together,
Pastor Matt & Franca Heins
CASEY
The City of Casey is growing at a rapid pace. Trends suggest that by 2040 over half a million people will call the City of Casey home. Faith Christian Church Casey began in 2005 and for years it met in a school hall, with a faithful team setting up and packing down every week. In 2014 we took our first faith step and leased a permanent facility in Narre Warren.
It’s already too small.
We have taken the first big step and purchased a block of land right in the heart of Casey. It is here that we are going to build a state of the art facility to make a statement that says to our community, ‘We are here to stay and we are here for you’. What will look like a building will become so much more - a centre of hope, a place families are restored, a church where people will encounter the life changing message of Jesus.
The Casey Legacy Build aims to:
> Build a brand new purpose built church in the heart of Casey, with state of the art facilities for children and teenagers.
> Provide a 700 seat auditorium.
> Operate another site for We Care Community Services to reach our community through playgroup and foodbank.

WAVERLEY
The launch of the new Faith Christian Church Waverley Campus is going to be something significant, not just for our church, but also for the whole Waverley area. We are combining the rich history of our Monash campus with the youthfulness and vibrancy of our Chadstone campus to create this powerhouse that will become a permanent beacon to a whole new city of people.
The rich heritage is our catapult.
Monash Christian Church was founded over 30 years ago and the congregation took a step to secure a permanent facility right in the heart of Mulgrave. We now have the opportunity to refurbish and create yet another strong, long-lasting, purpose built facility for future generations.
The Waverley Legacy Build aims to:
> Combine the Monash and Chadstone campuses into a new, refurbished facility.
> Provide state of the art facilities for children and teenagers.
> Operate another site for We Care Community Services to reach our community through playgroup and foodbank.

DANDENONG
In 2012, we officially opened the new Dandenong auditorium and then in 2017 we opened our new Youth facility, followed by the new Faith Kids facility in 2018. This has had an incredible impact on our Dandenong Campus. We are seeing more and more families walk through our doors, impacted by the programs that we provide for children and teenagers. Our Sunday services are growing and our playgroup has become the largest playgroup in the City of Dandenong!
We need to take this to the next level.
We want to create more space, for more people, for more lives to be changed. We want to do this by upgrading our foyer and external facade, joining our two buildings together and updating the building so that we can increase our capacity.
The Dandenong Legacy Build aims to:
> Double the size of the foyer and community space.
> Expand the cafe facilities and update the building.
> Connect the church building and community centre, including an outdoor community space and an outdoor playground.

LYNBROOK
Since moving into its own, purpose-built facility in 2016 our Lynbrook campus has thrived. It truly is a testimony of what a local church can do in a community once a permanent footprint is set. Lynbrook now holds two Sunday morning services and some weeks the building is at capacity. Our Faith Kids program is always full and families are drawn to the church because of it’s wonderful facilities for children.
Our Lynbrook campus is a lighthouse to it’s community.
We believe it is time that we replicate this at our other campuses. Moving into its own permanent facility has enabled the Lynbrook campus to thrive and we believe this will happen as our other campuses create their own permanent footprints.
In the future, the Lynbrook Campus will need:
> Mothers Feeding Room upgrade
> Foyer upgrade
> Kids church upgrade
